Vancouver, BC, April 18, 2018--(T-Net)--The Vancouver Sun is reporting today that Amazon is looking at renting the old post office in downtown Vancouver and wants to add a million square feet of office and commercial space downtown, as part of its expansion to double the Vancouver Amazon workforce to 2,000 people by 2020.
"The old post office is a mammoth 686,000-square-feet structure that occupies an entire block bounded by Georgia, Dunsmuir, Homer and Hamilton streets" says the Vancouver Sun in its article.
Amazon currently leases over seven floors of office space in the Telus Garden tower downtown, and also has an additional 50,000 square feet of office space at the WeWork building in the Bentall III tower at 595 Burrard St (also in downtown Vancouver).
