Langly, BC, August 20, 2018--(T-Net)--Genesis Robotics and Motion Technologies (Genesis Robotics) today announced Justin Currie as CEO.
Currie will lead Genesis Robotics' day-to-day operations from the company's headquarters in Langley.
His appointment as CEO follows the significant news earlier this year that Koch Chemical Technology Group (KCTG), a subsidiary of Koch Industries, had made a strategic and controlling investment in Genesis Robotics.
Currie has nearly 20 years of experience in executive-level finance and operational roles in the technology, aerospace, finance and manufacturing sectors. He was most recently CEO of Royalty North Partners, a Vancouver-based company that provides growth financing to private businesses. He has prior experience providing leadership to businesses at multiple stages including start-ups.
"We are confident Justin not only has the skills necessary to lead Genesis through the technology commercialization phase, but is also a great culture fit for our organization," said Bob DiFulgentiz, KCTG president and chief operating officer. "Justin has a solid track record of growing businesses and sustaining their financial health. We believe his passion, values and leadership skills will have a strong and positive impact on our growing organization."
Genesis Robotics continues to expand by adding key team members to the engineering, manufacturing and human resources departments. Currie will help guide the team as they move towards the commercialization of proprietary motion technologies in robotics and other sectors.
"I feel very fortunate to join a team with a great culture, strong values and shareholders that have both a long-term vision and capital depth," said Currie. "With the rapidly rising demand for motion technologies in the robotics industry, this is near perfect timing for us to enter the market with the LiveDrive™ and our growing family of other motion technologies. I'm excited to help continue the momentum that the Genesis team has built and provide support as we enter our next phase of growth."
About Genesis Robotics and Motion Technologies
