Burnaby-based Xenon Pharmaceuticals Announces $63.0 Million Public Offering of Common Shares

Burnaby, BC, September 13, 2018--(T-Net)--Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq:XENE), a Burnaby-based clinical stage, neurology-focused biopharmaceutical company, today announced the pricing of its planned underwritten public offering of 4,500,000 common shares at an offering price of $14.00/share, for gross proceeds of approximately $63.0 million.
In addition, Xenon has granted to the underwriters of the offering an option for a period of 30 days to purchase up to an additional 675,000 common shares at the same public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions.
The offering is expected to close on or about September 17, 2018, subject to customary closing conditions.
Jefferies LLC and Stifel are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
