Seaplane to 'ePlane': Vancouver-based Harbour Air Confirms First Flight Test of World's First Fully Electric Commercial Aircraft

Vancouver, BC, December 2, 2019--(T-Net)--Harbour Air announced today that following the successful installation and testing of the magniX propulsion system, the company will unveil the world's first Beaver seaplane retrofitted with a 750 horsepower all-electric magni500 propulsion system for an inaugural test flight on Wednesday, December 11*.
The prototype will take flight from the company's Richmond (YVR South) location. Please see below for a highlight of the work and efforts completed to date as well as next steps to take the company to this pivotal moment in aviation history.
