Reuters Says Maxar Exploring Possible Sale of MDA Space Robotics Business for $1 Billion (+)

Richmond, BC, June 17, 2019--(T-Net)--Reuters reported on Friday that MDA parent company Maxar is exploring a possible sale of its MDA space robotics business, which they report their sources say could fetch more than $1 billion and allow it to pay down some of its debt.
MDA previously completed a $3.6 billion acquisition of DigitalGlobe, with the combined company renamed to Maxar Technologies (and dual-listed on NYSE and TSX) in October 2017.
