New Ventures BC and Innovate BC Announce Top 25 Finalists for 2019 New Ventures Competition

Vancouver, BC, July 22, 2019--(T-Net)--New Ventures BC and Innovate BC have announced the top 25 finalists for its annual New Ventures Competition.
Providing mentorship, business seminars, networking events and recognition, the New Ventures Competition drives the growth of early-stage technology companies.
A total of $250,000 in capital and in-kind business services are awarded to the most promising startups in one of North America's largest business technology competitions.
Meet the diverse companies from throughout the province that will be competing in Round Three for the 2019 competition.
In the next stage of the competition, ventures will be paired with a mentor team and create a condensed business plan.

About New Ventures BC
New Ventures BC is a non-profit organization that recognizes, encourages, and supports entrepreneurship in BC's technology sector. Each year we run the New Ventures BC Competition, the largest and longest-running tech competition in BC, offering education, coaching and awarding $250,000 and prizes to BC startups. We offer a mentored, Distance Venture Acceleration Programfocused on customer discovery and Market Validation Training. Through our Innovator Skills Initiative grant program we give tech companies and startups up to $10,000 a year to hire a BC post-secondary student.
