Richmond, BC, July 29, 2019--(T-Net)--Clevest has announced the release of version 7.0 of their Mobile Workforce Management solution, which reaffirms Clevest as an industry leader in mobile workforce solutions for tier 1 energy and water utilities.
Significant enhancements in this release include:
Enhancements to Clevest's automated Scheduling further builds upon the company's existing rich functionality, adding the ability for work to be automatically scheduled, assigned, and visualized on the timeline Gantt up to a year in advance. Scheduling also handles both multi-day appointment booking windows, the ability to override default order durations, and the creation of appointments for long-duration work. Features such as the "ready to work" indicator enable better handling of complex dependent work.
The Scheduling Timeline has also been enhanced to provide even greater visibility and control to administrators and dispatchers. They now have unprecedented control over capacity planning and the ability to monitor planned vs. unplanned work. The color-coded timeline clearly indicates who is working on emergency or out-of-sequence work as well as work which is being missed or is in jeopardy, allowing dispatchers to redistribute and reschedule work accordingly. Work can be locked to specific workers or dates, with the Scheduling engine respecting those constraints during any subsequent scheduling run.
Clevest's Worker Profile now makes it easier than ever to create shift rotations and assign workers to those rotations, with the ability to adjust work areas and capacity on different days of the rotation. It also allows dispatchers to override a worker's profile for a specified period of time (e.g., if a worker is temporarily assigned to a different work area). The profile provides greater flexibility in defining the worker's loading capacity for scheduled and booked work, and reserving capacity for priority work; as well as limiting capacity for low priority or physically demanding work.
A sophisticated, utility-specific mobile Timesheets Module allows timesheet entries to be automatically created based on completed work orders. It accommodates rules in collective agreements, individual workers, dynamic and fixed crews, crew leaders, and supports both optional and backup approvals.
Timesheets seamlessly integrate with Clevest's Job Costing module, which aggregates labor, vehicle, and equipment usage from our configurable timesheet and shift registry forms to provide a clear view into a utility's costs for specific jobs. Both Timesheets and Job Costing provide full flexibility for adjusting this data in the field or in the office before sending the data to host systems such as SAP.
Districts and Dispatch Areas have been introduced to the Clevest hierarchy to ensure dispatchers receive the alerts and information relevant to their specific areas of responsibility, while seamlessly providing a mechanism to expand their view to cover breaks and sick time, or provide centralized after-hours or weekend dispatch and monitoring services.
Within the Clevest configuration, Contractors are now represented in Sub-business Groups, which operate as "one-way mirrors" into the contractor organizations. Utilities can manually and automatically dispatch work to both utility employees and contractor employees. Contractor companies have full visibility to dispatch and control their own work to their employees via Clevest, but otherwise have no visibility to utility operations.
Workers can view, create, modify, cancel, or complete SAP Notifications, along with viewing, adding, and deleting notification attachments. This allows workers to identify or perform additional "nearby" work in the field - seamlessly integrated with SAP via Clevest's SAP Add-on Component (AOC).
A Host Inquiry framework provides a mechanism for workers to query third party back-end systems from the field - including SAP - via our SAP AOC. The host inquiry response form can also be configured to return links to SAP notification details.
New Network Assessment capabilities allow utilities to visualize orders on a map (similar to a trace result) and color code, view, and split those line patrol/asset inspection work orders for multi-worker assignment. Assets can be marked as inspected and damage reports can be created. Progress on the main order is rolled back up from its segments.
Configurable Vehicle and Equipment Inspection Forms allow these tasks to be performed outside of workflows.
Tools such as a Data Loader have been introduced to support large-system deployments and the migration of data from staging environments to production. Additionally, multiple security and performance enhancements have been introduced in this release.
To date, 230 utilities have selected Clevest to manage their field workers, crews and contractors. Combined, the Clevest solution serves 100M+ consumers through 12,000+ mobile workers and 1,200+ dispatchers.
