Thursday, April 9, 2020
Vancouver, BC, Apr 9, 2020--A $25 billion federal loan program for small business is ready to launch but the govt and opposition are at odds over plans to pass separate wage subsidies for businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Finance Minister Bill Morneau said the country's largest banks will start taking applications for no-interest loans of up to $40,000 for small businesses starting on Thursday.
