Vancouver-based A&K Robotics Autonomous Disinfector Robot Selected for $1.5M Funding by Canada's Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster (NGen)

Vancouver, BC, September 1, 2020--(T-Net)--Vancouver-based A&K Robotics announced it has been selected as the Lead Recipient for $1.5M to bring to market the company's Autonomous Mobile Robotic UV Disinfector (Amrud) along with project partner, Sanctuary AI.
Amrud, a self-driving robot capable of autonomously disinfecting large areas of floor spaces and high-touch surfaces, will assist frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19, make our workplaces and schools sufficiently safe to allow workers and students to return safely back to their jobs and studies, and help prevent other pandemics from breaking out in the future.
A&K Robotics, based in Vancouver, BC, which with its partner, Sanctuary AI, will develop and rapidly bring to market Amrud, a self-driving robot capable of autonomously disinfecting large areas of floor spaces and high-touch surfaces.
