Uber Seeks Approval to Expand Into Victoria, Kelowna

Vancouver, BC, September 15, 2020--The world's largest ridesharing company is looking to widen its B.C. service. Uber said it has submitted an application to the Passenger Transportation Board that would allow it to operate across the rest of the province, starting in Victoria and Kelowna this year. The company has offered rides in Metro Vancouver since January, after a long fight with the provincial government.
