Google Announces Registration Now Open for Google Cloud Accelerator Canada, Seeking 8-12 Innovative Cloud-Native Technology Startups

Vancouver, BC, May 3, 2021--(T-Net)--Google Canada has announced that registration is now open for its Google Cloud Accelerator Canada program until May 28, 2021.
Google Cloud Accelerator Canada is a three-month accelerator program for cloud-native Canadian SaaS or ML/AI startups.
The inaugural Google Cloud Accelerator Canada cohort will kick off in July 2021 and run for 10 weeks. The first cohort will consist of 8-12 innovative cloud-native technology startups in Canada.
The accelerator runs entirely virtually for a period of 10-weeks, with digital workshops, programming, and mentorship taking place each week. As part of the Google Cloud Accelerator Canada selected founders outline the top challenges facing their startup and are then paired with relevant cloud experts from Google to help solve those challenges.
Program benefits include: Equity-free support, exclusive invitations to technical bootcamps hosted by Google, personalized cloud mentorship and technical support from Google experts, and the opportunity to provide feedback to Google product teams.
Participating startups receive deep mentorship on technical topics and machine learning as well as connections to relevant teams from across Google.
The program is open to cloud-native technology startups in Canada. The accelerator program is best suited for revenue generating startups with a minimum of 5+ employees. In order to ensure Google can provide meaningful value, startups should aim to leverage either cloud or AI/ML technologies in their product, service, or operations and/or show an interest in leveraging these technologies in the future.

About the program
Google Cloud Accelerator Canada is a three-month accelerator program for cloud-native Canadian SaaS or ML/AI startups. The accelerator is designed to bring the best of Google's programs, products, people, and technology to startups doing interesting work in the cloud. In addition to cloud mentorship and technical project support, the accelerator also includes deep dives and workshops focused on product design, customer acquisition, and leadership development for startup founders and leaders.
