New Ventures BC Announces Top Tech Startups Advancing to Round 2.5 and Round 3 of the 2021 NVBC Competition

Vancouver, BC, June 9, 2021--(T-Net)--New Ventures BC anounced in a blog post the 42 BC tech startups moving on to Round 2.5 and 3 of their 21st Annual New Ventures BC Competition, presented by Innovate BC.
The annual BCIC-New Ventures Competition, offers education, coaching, and $300,000+ in prizes to B.C. startups.
The winner will be awarded the Innovate BC first-prize package worth $110,000 in cash and prizes:
A panel of 83 judges have evaluated the previous 206 Round 2 submissions. This year the 21st annual Competition, presented by Innovate BC, was extremely competitive, leaving 15 ventures moving directly into Round 3, and 27 ventures pitching in Round 2.5. All scores were analyzed by Octothorpe software.

What's next?
The top 15 companies advance directly to Round 3. The remaining 27 teams will enter Round 2.5, where they will pitch for a chance to advance. The top ten ventures from this pitch day will join Round 3, creating the Top 25.
Round 2.5 pitches happen June 24th. Round 3 will be announced shortly after the Round 2.5 pitch day.
