Victoria, BC, September 3, 2021--(T-Net)--Victoria-based cleantech company Audette announced in a LinkedIn post that they have raised a $1 million seed funding round which will allow them to scale their technology and operations.
Audette has developed a digital platform creating project-by-project low-carbon transition plans for large commercial real estate portfolios. Once selected for implementation, low-carbon projects get streamlined access to regional grant and incentive programs.
The company has assembled a team of energy, software and startup experts.
"At Audette, we've imagined a carbon-free future where every existing building on the planet has a decarbonization plan. We're honoured and excited to be helping the corporate real estate industry become carbon-free" said the company in its announcement.
Investors in the seed round included Active Impact Investments, Powerhouse, Panache Ventures, Turnham Green Capital, and Undivided Ventures.
About Audette
In our years as energy efficiency consultants and cleantech implementers, we became increasingly frustrated with ineffective audits and slow action. With ambitious emissions reduction targets looming, we realized there needed to be a better way to identify opportunities for action. And so Audette was born.
We use state-of-the art techniques to analyze building data and find opportunities to reduce waste. Once identified, these ideas are turned into business cases by comparing them to real-world projects on buildings just like yours.
We understand that your business processes are unique, so we've built web-based reporting tools that allow you to visualize and share your data at all levels of your organization. We recognize the huge importance of well-resourced energy professionals out there making change, and we're here to help!
