For the third consecutive year, Clio has been recognized as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People, reflecting a values-driven focus for a new generation of top talent
Burnaby, BC, January 25, 2022--(T-Net)--Clio, a leading provider of cloud-based legal technology, was named to Canada's Top Employers for Young People for the third consecutive year.
The award is an editorial competition that recognizes employers offering Canada's best workplaces and programs for young people starting their careers. Clio was recognized for its unique leadership development programs and employee engagement opportunities during the largest employee scale-up initiative to date.
"In a remote work environment, it's especially important that younger employees feel connected to their peers and the work they're embarking on," said Natalie Archibald, VP Employee Success at Clio. "Many are beginning their careers in a remote work environment, without the historical references of a typical office. We're leaning into this opportunity to redefine how we support employees with dynamic, flexible workplace programs to bolster this exciting phase of their careers."
Clio's culture of deliberate development makes it possible for employees to fully integrate their professional and personal growth in ways that are constructive, generative, and connective. Clio invests in the next generation by building custom leadership development programs, having a dedicated in-house career coach to work with individuals and teams, and makes multi-directional feedback a part of its culture.
With ongoing employee engagement programs layered throughout the year, fostering a sense of community and collaboration is emphasized across levels and departments. This award specifically highlighted Clio's all-company quarterly Hackathon, where Clio employees from around the world work together on new ideas they're passionate about, and are encouraged to flex in new ways. Whether attending the Hackathon, town halls, social groups, or the company's summative Team Day events, Clio has designed programs that are inclusive of the diverse range of perspectives and career stages of employees throughout the company.
Clio says its company culture continues to evolve as the company scales its team to more than 750 employees throughout Canada, the United States, and Ireland. That number is expected to grow to 1,000 employees in 2022, as Clio continues its course on a rapid growth trajectory.
This award adds to the list of recognitions Clio has received over recent months, having just been recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for designing one the nation's best workplaces and programs that focus on intentional and meaningful connections. In 2021, Clio was also recognized by Fast Company, Waterstone Capital, YWCA, Eluta, and Deloitte for exceptional corporate culture, innovative programs, industry leadership, and top management.
