Vancouver-based Durable Closes $6.25M Seed Financing Round to 'Make Owning a Business Easier Than Having a Job'

Vancouver, BC, December 2, 2022--(T-Net)--Vancouver-based Durable announced today that it has closed a $6.25 million seed financing round with participation from Altman Capital, Torch Capital, Infinity Ventures, Dash Fund, South Park Commons, Soma, Night Capital, Lorimer Ventures, and additional angel investors.

Durable operates a 'service business in a box' and launched their first product last month.

The company says it is on a mission to make owning a business easier than having a job.

In the past few years, 'new business' creation has exploded. 500,000 new businesses are started every month in the US. 75% of these businesses don't have employees, and the majority of them are service-based companies. Service companies power the economy.

Rather — solo service business owners power the economy. But the process of starting and growing a solo business is still incredibly complicated.

Durable says it makes it 10x easier to start and grow a solo service business. They have built a platform that gives owners everything they need to start and grow their service business.

Right now, this includes a website, marketing automation, CRM, invoicing, and financial tools. It's one login to manage an entire business, and customers can get started in less than 30 seconds, according to the company.
