Semios Receives Support from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) to Begin 3-year, $65M Project to Deliver Actionable Fertigation Recommendations for High Value Crops
Vancouver, BC, February 16, 2022--(T-Net)--Semios announced that it has received support from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) to begin a major 3-year, $65 million project to deliver actionable fertigation recommendations for high value crops.
The support was part of SDTC's investment of $52.3 million in 16 ground-breaking Canadian companies. The investments will help Canada meet its 2030 climate objectives and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, according to SDTC. Learn more about these companies here.
Semios is a Vancouver, British Columbia, based company that is using data and machine learning to improve tree fruit and nut crops to use less water and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and is receiving $17 million in scale-up funding to expand its operations.
