Analytic Systems to supply Inverter-Chargers in support of armoured vehicle fleet modernization

Delta, BC, September 15, 2022--(T-Net)--Analytic Systems announced that it has signed a contract with General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada to manufacture and supply 3000 and 6000 watt Inverter-Chargers for installation in 360 Light Armoured Vehicles (LAVs) to be produced for Canada's Armoured Combat Support Vehicle (ACSV) program.

Analytic Systems rugged military-specification Inverter-Chargers will provide filtered pure sine wave AC power requirements to soldiers using the new ACSV LAVs.

Referred to as "the backbone of the Army's combat support fleet" these ACSV LAVs will provide combat support roles such as ambulances, vehicle recovery, engineering, mobile repair, electronic warfare, troop carrying, and command posts.

The modular Inverter-Charger designs are electrically ultra-quiet, with digital signal processor (DSP) control, waterproof IP66 chassis, wide temperature range, and built to withstand shock and vibration of harsh military environments. The new designs are backed by Analytic Systems' 40 years of experience designing and manufacturing power conversion products for extreme applications.

This program provides economic benefit to Canadians through the Government of Canada's Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) program, which ensures reinvestment into the Canadian economy at an amount equal to the value of the contract.
