Foresight Canada Announces Opening of Nominations for 2023 BC Cleantech Awards (10 Categories)

Burnaby, BC, February 1, 2023--(T-Net)--Foresight Canada announced today that nominations are now open for its fourth annual BC Cleantech Awards.
The BC Cleantech Awards recognizes inspiring change-makers from across the province that are helping lead the charge to a net zero economy.
Nominations are open now until February 24, 2023. If you know of a deserving candidate within the BC cleantech ecosystem, you can nominate them today. Self nominations are also welcome.
The 2023 BC Cleantech Awards celebrations will be happening in-person in Vancouver as well as livestreamed on March 30, 2023.
AWARD CATEGORIES
Startup of the Year (Group)
An emerging cleantech venture actively growing and already creating impact in their field (suggested TRL 1-6)
Scaling Venture of the Year (Group)
A cleantech venture positioned to take a leadership role on the global innovation stage (suggested TRL 7-9)
Community Advocate of the Year (Individual)
A mentor offering invaluable guidance, advice, or support to cleantech entrepreneurs
Ecosystem Supporter of the Year (Group)
An organization championing the growth and development of cleantech in BC through programs, ecosystem development, thought leadership, and community building
Corporate Pioneer of the Year (Group)
A large organization or company adopting, championing, or leading sustainable practices in their industry
Investor of the Year (Individual)
An angel investor or VC championing a net zero economy by investing in cleantech ventures
Funder of the Year (Group)
An organization or individual offering capital support or funding to support cleantech ventures as they grow and scale
Training Institution of the Year (Group)
An educational institution leading or championing research, programming, and upskilling that will enable a net zero future
Educator of the Year (Individual)
A professor, academic leader, or post-secondary instructor taking an innovative approach to education for the net zero economy
Government Champion of the Year (Individual)
A local or provincial government official using policy, advocacy, or funding to move the province towards net zero
