Vancouver, BC, February 7, 2023--(T-Net)--CuePath Innovation, a provider of medication adherence solutions for the home healthcare market, announced today that it has been selected to provide its medication compliance monitoring system for an upcoming Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) led clinical trial.

This will be the first clinical trial in Canada to incorporate automated medication compliance monitoring and analysis in its research protocol. The clinical trial is funded by Health Canada and is scheduled to commence in May 2023.

The Contract Research Organization (CRO) for this clinical trial is Changemark Research + Evaluation.

Clinical trials typically rely on participant self-reporting of their medication compliance to the research team. This can lead to unreliable evidence and inaccurate data around the actual safety of the medication.

CuePath says it brings its automated medication compliance monitoring and analysis to the clinical trial, so researchers can accurately monitor and gather data that study participants are taking the correct dosage of their medication and at what exact time allowing better evidence overall for drug trials.
