Tayber Voyer, New CEO, A Thinking Ape Entertainment Ltd.

Vancouver, BC, March 10, 2023--(T-Net)--Vancouver-based mobile game studio A Thinking Ape announced today that it has appointed Tayber Voyer as its new CEO.

Tayber has been with the company for a decade, is one of the primary architects behind the studio's award-winning culture, and has played a key role in the success of their games.

A Thinking Ape has been part of Vancouver's tech-scene since 2008, and continues to be an innovative and growing force in mobile game creation, with a studio of 108 employees.

The studio currently has six games in live operation, and their games have had almost 50M installs. Two new games have been released in the past six months, Single City and Witch Arcana - Magic School.

"I am confident that under Tayber's leadership, ATA is in excellent hands", said Kenshi Arasaki, former CEO of A Thinking Ape.

Arasaki is moving into the role of chair after fifteen years as founder and CEO.

Tayber Voyer is a veteran of the mobile game industry and has been VP of Product at ATA for many years leading the game and narrative design, analytics and community teams.

"When I started my unpaid internship at a game studio in 2010, I had no idea it would change my life forever", said Voyer. "From the very first day, I was enamored by the magic of crafting games that connect people. I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent the majority of my career at A Thinking Ape, surrounded by some of the most talented and inspiring people in the industry. Now, as I embark upon a new journey, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this company to even greater heights."

Mobile Game Studio A Thinking Ape Entertainment Ltd. was founded in 2008, and is headquartered in Vancouver, BC. Currently at 108 employees with six mobile games in live operations. The studio operates as remote-first across Canada. Please check out their games here
