Rogers to Launch Premium 3500 MHz 5G Spectrum in Nanaimo, a First in Canada

Burnaby, BC, June 17, 2022--Rogers Communications announced it has started to deploy its 5G 3500 MHz spectrum holdings, with the first location going live in Nanaimo, BC this morning. The company says it will continue its deployment across Canada, including the urban centres of Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver and multiple rural areas.

Rogers Launches Canada's First Commercially Available 5G Standalone Network

Burnaby, BC, April 1, 2022--Rogers Communications announced this week that it has launched the first commercial 5G standalone (SA) network in Canada and one of the first globally, turning on the next-generation service after completing the rollout of Canada's first national standalone 5G core and the country's first 5G standalone device certification.
