TELUS to acquire European Call Centre Solutions firm Competence Call Center for $1.3 Billion (through TELUS International)

Burnaby, BC, December 6, 2019--TELUS Corporation (T-TSX; NYSE-TU) announced that it has agreed to acquire privately-owned Competence Call Center (CCC), a leading provider of higher-value-added business services with a focus on customer relationship management and content moderation, for approximately €915 million (approximately C$1.3 billion) consisting of debt and equity, subject to customary closing adjustments. The acquisition is being made through the company's TELUS International subsidiary

TELUS reports strong operational and financial results for third quarter 2019

Burnaby, BC, November 12, 2019--TELUS Corporation released its unaudited results for the third quarter of 2019. Consolidated operating revenue of $3.7 billion increased by 2.6 per cent when excluding the non-recurrence of equity income related to real estate joint ventures arising from the sale of TELUS Garden of $171 million in the third quarter of 2018.
