StarFish Medical Appoints Ben Clawson to its Advisory Board

Vancouver, BC, May 25, 2012--(T-Net)--StarFish Medical announced that Bay Area medical device veteran, Ben Clawson, will be joining the StarFish Medical Advisory Board. StarFish states that Clawson's depth of involvement in a broad scope of medical device specialties makes him an ideal resource for the company.

Clawson's career in the medical device industry spans a period of 30 years and includes stints with Humphrey Instruments and then Surgical Dynamics when it was a seed-stage startup. With a successful history of developing startups under his belt, Clawson went on to found BC Tech, offering the medical device industry outsourced product development and manufacturing services from 1995 to 2010.
“Having been involved in the design and manufacture of more than 50 medical devices for Fortune 500 companies and startups alike, I believe that my experience offers value to both StarFish Medical and its clients and I look forward to taking part in the StarFish Advisory Board," comments Clawson.
Comprised of executive leaders from a variety of business backgrounds including GE Medical, Mercedes, Sanmina, Philips Medical, Tomey and Biorad among others, the StarFish Advisory Board was formed in 2001. The Board lends its collective expertise to further the goals and objectives of the StarFish Medical leadership team, ensuring that the company draws from a wide scope of experience, skill, and knowledge.
