As a key member of our Executive team reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief People Officer will represent the voice of every Clion, intern to exec, ensuring that we are all rowing towards the same goal. We are one team, thriving together.
What You'll Work On:
- Create and maintain a strategic people function that is aligned with Clio's business & growth objectives.
- Be proactive by partnering closely with leadership teams as the strategic business advisor/subject matter expert, driving and influencing business decisions
- Scaling a high-performing and mission-driven People leadership team. Building, hiring, coaching, developing and retaining our existing leadership for today and the future at Clio.
- Manage all aspects of HR, employee relations, organizational management, and total rewards
- Oversee the development and execution of talent acquisition and retention strategies, including hiring processes, professional development, and diversity & inclusion strategies
- Develop and enhance Clio's employment brand strategy to attract talent & showcase our culture and values
- Partner with leadership & people operations teams to provide guidance on our compensation philosophy to design locally competitive total rewards
- Identify key performance indicators for people and talent functions, utilizing a data-driven approach to identify trends and recommend solutions
- Coordinate the maintenance and evolution of Clio's People Systems & Analytics tools to facilitate the electronic management of and analytics/reporting around the employee lifecycle.
- Establish organizational performance management programs that align with company objectives. Coach management to set clear, meaningful goals and objectives and use metrics to measure performance
- Ensure up-to-date compliance with employment laws and regulations
About You:
- Held an executive leadership role at a $200m+ growth SaaS/technology company
- Experience developing values-driven cultures with high employee engagement and retention
- Proven ability to proactively create alignment across business units and influence business decisions
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategies that drive business results
- Broad knowledge and expertise in employee relations, employment law, compensation, organizational development, talent acquisitions, and training and development
- Expertise in assessing organizational health/trends and implementing solutions
- Passionate about the technology industry with a proactive approach to continuous learning and driving new initiatives
- Experience working for a public company or going through IPO is a plus
- SMB or Vertical SaaS experience would be an asset
- Ability to travel to our headquarters in Vancouver, BC and our other office locations in Calgary, AB, Toronto, ON, and Dublin, Ireland.

- The expected salary range* for Canadian Applicants similar roles within Clio is: $250,000 to $350,000 CAD
- This role has a separate set of US region-specific salary ranges.
- This role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance, with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis
