Actenum Appoints Former Sophos President Steve Munford to Board of Directors

Vancouver, BC, October 7, 2014--(T-Net)--Actenum Corporation announced today the appointment of Steve Munford to the company's Board of Directors.
Steve served as the CEO of Sophos Ltd. from 2006 to 2012, and during that time led the company through a period of dramatic growth.
Prior to his role as CEO, Steve served as President of Sophos for North America, and then Chief Operating Officer. He is currently the non-executive chairman of the Sophos Ltd. Board of Directors, and the chairman of Elastic Path Software Inc. He is also on the boards of Carbonite, Core Security, and Quick Mobile.
Prior to his tenure at Sophos, Steve was President of ActiveState before its acquisition by Sophos in 2003. Under his leadership, ActiveState established itself as a global leader in email security software.

The company also announced today that Morten Irgens has stepped down from the board.
Morten is a co-founder of Actenum and served as the company's Chief Technology Officer until 2010. He is currently Director of Research at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, and chairman of the board of the Norwegian Information Security Center.
